In this class, I learned much about how the environment is affected by the energy business. I also learned much regarding the politics of the environment as well as the politics of the energy business. As a political science major, I find this information to be invaluable, seeing as the topics of energy and the environment are becoming hot button issues. And, as with all hot button issues, it is important to know the truth behind the technologies and methods being currently used and researched.

For this project, my partner and I chose to do a presentation on the topic of global climate change. Our presentation included a video about climate change and a concept map that we created with another group who's topic was energy in the residential sector. It also included a power point that contained little information about the topic itself, but served more as a visual aid to the speaking notes that I used to present.
